Tuesday Night Programs
Tuesday nights are a time for fun, food,
and fellowship, all beginning at 6:30 pm with a home cooked
meal. If you get tired of campus food, or just wish you were
home for good ol' home cooking, you'll be glad to know that
one of the four covenant partner churches cooks a meal for the
students. PSF members cook on the third Tuesday of the month -
so if you like to share your cooking talents with others -
here's your chance. As all will say, the food is great and
provides a taste of home.
Discussion Nights: Following the meal on the other weeks are
discussions on topics picked by students. Speakers are often
invited to come and talk on the topic and get the discussion
going. Discussion topics range from current events to what it
means to be Presbyterian.
Tuesday night PSF meetings are a great time to meet new
people, build Christian relationships, relax, and worship in a
comfortable atmosphere. Plus, there is a free meal! Our group
changes every week and is very welcoming. Come join us.
Muffin and Mattress Program
Coming to Blacksburg for a football,
parents, or graduation weekend? Like the idea of "home
hospitality?" Try "Muffin and Mattress," a bed and breakfast
service for families of Presbyterian Student Fellowship
students.
Through this program, relatives stay overnight at the home of
a local Presbyterian family from one of our covenant partner
churches. Your thank-you contributions benefit student
programming at Presbyterian Campus Ministry. Call Cooper House
or e-mail for information.
